Seatbelts
Traditional seat belt systems are designed to react to a collision. Using technology that combines
an airbag with a seatbelt, Toyoda Gosei has taken safety to a new level with a "Pre-Crash Safety System"
that actually detects the inevitability of a crash before it occurs. Using millimeter wave radar, the
system winds the seatbelt just prior to the crash, restraining passengers and reducing the impact of
the collision.
