Fuel Total Systems and Toyota donate $10,000 each to The Children's Home of Stockton and Lathrop School at Grand Opening Celebration

Funds used for vocational training and to upgrade computers for children

Lathrop, California (May 18, 2005) -- Fuel Total Systems California Corporation's Grand Opening was held today at their plant in Lathrop. Fuel Total Systems and Toyota announced a $10,000 gift to The Children's Home of Stockton, which will be used for vocational training for severely emotionally disturbed children and their families. The $10,000 gift to Lathrop School will be used to upgrade computers at the school.

"We are particularly grateful and proud to receive the grant from such excellent organizations as Fuel Total Systems California Corporation and Toyota. To be associated with them certainly lends additional credibility to our efforts and mission," said Executive Director Mark Phelps, Children's Home of Stockton.

Katie Peters, Principal of the Lathrop School, said, "Thank you for being our partners in education and selecting our school for this very generous gift. We are extremely grateful for your outreach to the Lathrop School Community."

"This impressive high-tech facility represents one of the Valley's best economic development efforts," U.S. Congressman Dennis Cardoza said. "It has brought the types of jobs that are sure to have a positive impact on Lathrop and the region as a whole."

Mr. Kyoji Ikki, President of Fuel Total Systems California said, "All members of FTSCA would like to grow together with our community."

The gift is the result of Toyota's Community Connection program, a philanthropy program aimed at supporting non-profit organizations in the cities where the automotive manufacturer and its suppliers do business. The program, which is in its seventh year, has donated $876,500 at 51 events in 21 states.

"Toyota believes in contributing to the communities where our manufacturing plants and other facilities are located. Through Community Connection, we extend that support to our supplier communities," said Mr. Atsushi Niimi, President of Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, Inc.
