Award Criteria

DaimlerChrysler Gold Award

Awarded annually to suppliers who demonstrate outstanding performance in quality, delivery, technical support, and cost-saving (SCORE) proposals.

DaimlerChrysler Commodity Award

Granted at the divisional level of a company based on a combination of ratings in the areas of SCORE, Price, Customer Support and Technology. A large percentage of the final rating is derived from an accumulation of plant performance ratings in the areas of quality and delivery.

Ford World Excellence Award

Prestigious annual award honoring Ford production suppliers who have met and exceeded rigorous standards for performance in quality, cost and delivery metrics as measured by the Supplier Improvement Metrics. Two levels of the award, Gold and Silver are given out annually.

Ford Recognition of Achievement

Earned by suppliers for special accomplishments, such as Outstanding Supply Performance, participation in the Warranty Reduction Program pilot or Minority Supplier Development.

General Motors Supplier of the Year

Selected by a global team of executives from Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, and Manufacturing. The award has been presented annually since 1992, to the leading supplier in each commodity based on total supplier performance in the areas of quality, service, technology and price.

Honda Quality Award

Awarded annually to suppliers who achieve outstanding quality levels as measured by parts per million (PPM).

Honda Delivery Award

Presented to suppliers annually who achieve 100 percent on time delivery.

Honda Productivity Improvement Award

Recognizes suppliers for achieving results in significant gains in productivity or efficiency.

Nissan Master of Quality Award

Presented annually to suppliers who achieve an exceptional performance review score. The review includes quality, response time, cost-reduction capability, design support, timely shipments, product performance and complexity, warranty, and Nissan's own vehicle evaluation system.

Toyota Superior Award

Toyota's highest level of recognition, is awarded annually to suppliers who have met the highest standards in quality, delivery, value improvement for parts, materials and transportation.

Toyota Launch Award

Recognizes those suppliers whose exemplary work greatly contributes to a smooth launch of a new model.

Toyota Certificate of Achievement Award

Presented in recognition of achieving and maintaining superior performance standards. Awards are given annually to suppliers providing the highest standards in quality, delivery and value improvement.
