TG Fluid Systems Honored for Investment in Livingston County

Brighton, MI, January 25, 2018: TG Fluid Systems USA Corporation (TGFSUS), a leading automotive supplier, will be honored by the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce for its $11 million investment in the company’s Brighton, MI, facility. On January 25, 2018, TGFSUS will be one of only three companies awarded Jobs and Prosperity Award at the Chamber’s 61st Annual Dinner and Citizen of the Year Presentation.
“Through continuous focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery performance, TG Fluid Systems has been able to grow our business in both Howell and Brighton,” said Brian Foddrill, president of TGFSUS. “Our team members are committed to providing products to strengthen our business and the community. So, we are honored to accept this award from the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce.”
The Jobs and Prosperity Award is given to companies that make a significant investment in expanding their facilities, while growing their workforce. The award will be presented to TGFSUS for its investment in a plant expansion and its plans to increase hiring. The expansion, which will be completed in March 2018, will add 62,000 square feet to its facility and allow TGFSUS to hire 35 more employees in the next three years, increasing its head count by approximately 9.5 percent.

TGFSUS supplies automotive functional components, such as fuel lines, to industry suppliers and automotive manufacturers. Its 240,000 square foot facility is located in Brighton, MI. TGFSUS was established in 2000, when Toyoda Gosei acquired the company from Eagle Pitcher. Since its establishment, TGFSUS has increased sales by more than $100 million and added more than 300 employees.
