Toyoda Gosei Develops Reversible Armrest

Console box serves as either armrest or tray

Kiyosu, Japan: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd., has developed a reversible armrest that functions as either an armrest or tray. This new lineup of interior products for more convenient vehicle cabin is used on the new RAV4 from Toyota Motor.

This reversible armrest can be normally used as an armrest, or it can be turned over as a tray. This is made possible by the removable lid of the console box. Toyoda Gosei has long provided console boxes with lids that can be opened from either side, and the reversible function of the new console box helps to better meet the diverse needs of users.

Going forward, Toyoda Gosei will leverage its expertise in developing and manufacturing cockpit peripheral products for more convenient and comfortable automobiles.
